Personal Overview

I am a South-African born rugby player. I migrated to Namibia during my 11th year (2009) at school, and have been playing most of my rugby there. I have represented Namibia in both 7's and 15's. I started with my senior rugby career in South-Africa where I played in a club competition in the Eastern Province. I got called up to the Eastern Kings squad as the extension to their U/21 group. I made the decision to go back to Namibia due to work. In 2013 I made my first appearance at club level for United Rugby club. I also received a call up to play trials for the Namibia national 7's squad, and got selected in the group. In 2014 I was approached to play rugby at Wanderes rugby club, which I then accepted. I made my first national 7's appearance at the Safland rugby tournament, and then later got selected for our national 7's tour to Kenya. I played as a utility for back and forwards in the 7's squad. I was selected to form part of the Vodacom cup squad in 2015 at both wing and/or center. With the Worldcup on its way I was selected in the 40 man squad. In both 2016 and 2017 I represented the Welwitchias in the Currie Cup, forming part of the South-African rugby competition. 2017 I again formed part of the National 7's side that played at the Safland sevens tournament.
