Personal Overview

I am a good player, I move well around the park.
I was part of the Paarl Boys High u/18 A first team in 2015. This team went undefeated for the year and ended up the number 1 schools team in South Africa. I started in all 21 games.
During that year I was awarded a contract with the Golden Lions Rugby Union for 2016 and 2017.
I am looking for an opportunity oversees to develop my career but also further my  studies and obtain an internasional  qualification.

I have joined Vagabonds Rugbyclub in October 2018 but the club is struggleing to get me a workpermit and visa. And I would very much like to stay in England.

The club has been good to me and if you have a look at their Facebook page they have been writing good stuff about me.

Close on Clarkes’ heels will be fellow country MC whose powerful ball carrying runs will be required this weekend as well as his clinical throw-ins and his Outback dance moves (post game only!).”

“New signing MC De Jongh was the star of the show as he scored his first club try. This came from a well worked line out which saw the Vagas pack catch and drive and from the base of the maul, MC broke away, handed off 4 players and dived over the white wash. Cameron Findlay surprisingly added the extras. Hill managed to score again right on the half time whistle and as the teams restarted, Vagas’ slim lead was extended thanks to MC’s second try which was almost a carbon copy of his first. This was a good performance from Vagas and man of the match went to MC De Jongh for his 2 tries and impressive work rate at the break down.”
