Experience of playing in several positions within a senior level set-up, enabling me to be adaptable to different positions dependent upon the needs of the club.

I'm of Irish & South African origin and have grown up in England, now keen to explore the rugby playing experience elsewhere and put my own stamp on things.

Thanet Wanderers RUFC – Playing Level 7/8

I coached Paul in the 2010/11-2012/13 seasons when I was assistant coach at Thanet, mainly responsible for the second team.

Paul joined the club at the start of that season initially playing in our third team but progressing quickly into the second team and representing the first team on a number of occasions. Our backline in the first team that season was very strong, so Pauls inclusion in it, for someone joining the club was impressive.

My main contact with him was whilst he was playing in the second team, where he mainly played either 12 or 13 but was quick enough to play wing on occasions when needed.

His main strengths are his ball carrying into contact and his one on one defence, where little ever passes him. He enjoys the physicality of the sport and never doubts his ability in this area of the game. Has good hands so is by no means a one-dimensional player.

Could comfortably play at a higher level.
