Personal Overview

I am an 20-year-old, very physical and dominant tackler, strong ruck player and ball carrier. I like to make an impact by making strong, often dominant tackles. Rucking, stealing balls, or slowing down play at rucks are also some of my skills. I play with impact which gives momentum to the team and I have an high work rate. I know my way around well in scrummaging, both as a back row and as a lock, and I can jump and lift in the lineout.

I started playing rugby at the age of 16, after having played premiership basketball for 4 years. In my relatively short career, I have managed to become champions of the Netherlands in u18 and play on the highest level for 3 consecutive seasons. I have switched clubs this season within the Dutch men’s premiership competition in pursued to improve my skills with better coaching. I am finishing my Bachelor of Science this year which creates and opportunity for me to be looking to play at a higher level abroad and possibly overseas, possibly in combination with a masters degree at university.
