Personal Overview

My name is William and I am an openside from the UK.

I would say as an openside, I definitely consentrate on more of the defensive side of the game, I love rucks, mauls, tackles and jackles. The set piece is something i pride myself on, winning the ball in attack/defence in the line out, putting pressure on the 9 or 10 at the scrum. I also think I have a good tackle too.

I'm looking to step up my Rugby career.

I got scouted by Northampton Saints (2011).

Iâ€™m currently playing for Suffolk Rugby Union Under 20's

I was watched by an England Rugby League scout playing for the under 16's against Brentwood School at aged 14(2013)

I was on the data base for Scotland RFL Under 18's

I was a winner with Hadleigh at Road to Rio 7â€™s tournament.

I was a Winner at Suffolk 7â€™s tournament in 2012.

Also won the County sevens in 2013.

I captained Hadleigh Rugby Club on tour to Devon playing in a national tournament.

Iâ€™ve coached Hadleigh School Girls Team to a second place finish in only their second game.

I've Captained Hadleigh Men's team at aged 16

I have won tourists tourist on both Hadleigh Youth tours in 2010 and 2012

I was on a months trial to London Scottish but due to injury and distance I could not commit.

I was offered a place on FirstPointUSA's Scholarship in 2013.

I was offered a trial with Cambridge Rugby club in National 1 but I tore my cartilage in my knee and am on the road to recovery.

In 2018 I played Premier Rugby in North Otago and in the same was offered a semi-professional contract with a National League 2 Team.
