Personal Overview

I have played Rugby for St Stanislaus' College which is a prestigious rugby school located in the Central West town of Bathurst. It has a rich and proud rugby history that dates back to the late 1800's. The school competes in the Independent Schools' Association (ISA) competition which plays the best schoolboy rugby teams in the state. The competition is challenging and tests the ability of each player in the team and has made me a better competitor and player. Rugby has enabled me to challenge myself physically and mentally; I have cherished the bonds and friendship of being able to play with my teammates. I love the teamwork and camaraderie that Rugby offers. Even though the 2015 rugby season has finished I have consistently found myself training in the gym with my teammates setting goals for 2016, one which is to play rugby in England. Before starting at St Stanislaus' College my schooling was at a public school. I was offered fee assistance scholarship to attend St Stanislaus College and I have taken every opportunity offered to me since. I have challenged myself physically and mentally. I have excelled in my academic studies and Rugby over the past two years and I put this down primarily to my hard work ethic. I have a British passport due to my mother being an English citizen, which will make my transition to playing Rugby overseas easier. I am open to constructive criticism, always willing to try new things and I am a quick learner. I believe I would be an asset to any rugby team due to my strength of character, discipline and work ethic.
