1XV Captain University of Brighton Rugby Club

The club currently competes in the BUCS 1A League, which stands one below the premier division of university rugby. In my previous two years playing for the university we have narrowly missed promotion into the top tier.  

Social Secretary of University of Brighton Rugby Club 2013/14  

This involved planning and organising regular social activities and events for the four competitive university teams in order to continue and improve teams cohesion. I was responsible for negotiating with bars and clubs, the costs and suitable venues for meetings and most importantly negotiating setting up sponsorship opportunities.

Semi Professional Rugby

After being scouted whilst playing for my school 1st XV team, I signed for Southend Rugby Club 2012/13. After completing pre season, I played at National 2 level prior to starting university. Once I started university it was agreed that I was unable to train with the team so whenever it was logistically possible I would play for the 2nd XV. My university work commitments increased over time and this proved too much for me to give the commitment needed to play at this level.  

Coopers Company and Coborn School 1st XV Team 2011/12

I was part of the team for three years, during this time we won numerous county cups and reached a Daily Mail Cup semi-final.  

Essex County Rugby

I represented Essex County playing from the age of 13 to 20.   I can play in all three back row positions, my preferred position is Open-side flanker.  

Volunteering  Step into Sport Programme 2011

Volunteering to teach a variety of sport and physical activities to my wider community. Introducing the game of rugby to children in schools.
