About me:
I am a very versatile player. I can play anywhere in the backline. My preferred position is at Scrum-Half. I have an excellent pass, kick, running game and great vision. I like to see my self as a general on the pitch. I have a great strength in being able to drive my team around the park and control the tempo of the game. I always put in 100% and strive to lead by example. I would describe my game play as energetic and enthusiastic.

Coaching References

“Matt was a pleasure to have on the programme, a willing worker and showed a keenness to assist in the continued development of the programme. While he enjoyed many highlights the most noteworthy would have been having a skills session with All Black Halfback Andy Ellis. We believe Matt has the raw ability to go further in the game and with his work ethic and training commitment we believe this will occur.”   John Haggart – Canterbury Crusaders International High Performance Unit Coach
