Personal Overview

My preferable position is in the centres however can adapt to any back positions. I enjoy a fast running game however understand kicking is vital in the right areas. I was the place kicker for my School and also took kicks to touch and restarts. My strong areas in the game include my handling, passing off both hands with ease and also as a ball carrier into contact, having the strength to stay on my feet. I started playing rugby at the age of 8 at Oakham RFC my local rugby club. I then became selected for School of rugby in Leicestershire at 13 where I also went on to play for Leicester Tigers EPDG where I trained and played several matches there. I also received county representation at 15 playing other counties around the area. I moved to Market Harborough RFC at 15 and played there for 2 years, reaching the county finals in 2013. This year I played first team for Oakham School and the year before I made a break through from the second team towards the end of the season to finish in the first team. Under the school I have received high quality coaching from ex Leicester Tigers player and Coach Ian Smith and Glen Gelderbloom. Representing the school opened the gateway to the Lambs independent school barbarian trials where I got through to the second trial to play the north (which we comfortable won). I have returned to Oakham RFC where I am playing in the first team as well as training for sevens tournaments which I will represent the school in.
