Personal Overview

An experienced scrum-half with a career across Super Rugby (Sunwolves), Japan Rugby League One / Top League (Suntory Sungoliath, Coca-Cola Red Sparks, Toyota Industries Shuttles) and New Zealand development rugby (Waikato, Chiefs).

A game-manager at 9 — kicking game, tempo control, defensive organisation and on-field leadership. Captained Japan at U18 level and represented Japan U20. In 2026 I played for the Asia Pacific Lions against Northampton Saints.

Off the field I am a university graduate and qualified teacher, and have coached over 100 teams as a skills coach — I can contribute to youth and academy programmes alongside playing.
