I am a passionate, committed and highly driven rugby player who has dedicated the past 16 years of my life to the sport I love. Rugby is far more than just a game to me; it is my passion, my motivation and a major part of who I am. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong work ethic, mental toughness, discipline and a relentless desire to improve. I take great pride in being the type of player who is willing to put in the hard work both on and off the field, and I always strive to become a better player, teammate and leader. I understand the demands of professional rugby and the level of commitment, consistency and sacrifice required to compete at the highest possible standard.

I am a tighthead prop by speciality, while also being capable and confident of playing loosehead prop when required. I consider myself a strong, physical and mobile modern-day prop who can contribute significantly in all areas of the game. My biggest strengths are my scrummaging ability, physicality, ball carrying and work rate around the field. I am a hard carrier who enjoys taking the ball into contact, carrying aggressively, making valuable metres and creating momentum for my team. I pride myself on being physical at the point of contact while still having the mobility to get around the field, support attacking opportunities and make important defensive contributions. I understand that a prop’s role extends far beyond the scrum, and I aim to bring value to my team through carries, tackles, cleanouts, support play and a consistently high work rate.

My experience has given me the opportunity to develop not only as a player but also as a leader. I have played for my club for the past five years and spent three years representing the Griffons U21 side. In 2024, I was honoured to be selected as captain of the Griffons U21 team. This responsibility taught me valuable lessons about leadership, communication, accountability and performing under pressure. Being a captain has strengthened my ability to lead by example, motivate those around me and remain composed during challenging moments. I believe true leadership is demonstrated through actions, effort and attitude, and I always aim to set the standard through my commitment and work ethic.

My individual achievements are also something I am extremely proud of. I was named my club’s Player of the Year in 2023 and was awarded Forward Player of the Year in 2025. These achievements are especially meaningful to me because they represent the hard work, dedication and consistency I have invested in my rugby career. They have motivated me to continue pushing myself and to set even higher standards for my future. I never want to become complacent; I believe there is always another level to reach and another aspect of my game that can be improved.

As a player, I bring determination, physicality, discipline, resilience and a strong team-first mentality. I am willing to do the difficult work that is required of a forward and understand the importance of doing the unseen work that allows a team to succeed. I take pride in being dependable and giving everything I have whenever I step onto the field. I am also coachable and always willing to listen, learn and adapt. I respect the knowledge and experience of coaches and senior players and believe that constructive criticism is an important part of becoming a better rugby player.

I believe my combination of experience, leadership, scrummaging ability, physical ball carrying, mobility and strong work ethic makes me a versatile and valuable prop forward. I am hungry for the opportunity to continue developing my career, challenge myself against stronger opposition and contribute to a team that shares the same ambition and commitment to success. I am ready to work hard, compete for my position and earn the trust of my coaches and teammates through my performances and attitude. My goal is to continue growing as a rugby player, take the next step in my career and prove that my passion, experience and determination can make a meaningful contribution to any squad fortunate enough to have me.
