Personal Overview

Matthew Brice is a talented winger, who has the ability to play as a Utility Back.

The Australian’s talents were spotted by the Queensland Reds, where he spent two years at their academy, featuring for the Queensland U19 side.

His time at the academy has helped him gain valuable experience, which helped elevate his game, resulting in being included in a touring squad by Les Kiss to face the Panasonic Wild Knights in Japan.

His performance was rewarded, where Brice was selected for the Reds’ Super Rugby squad, gaining crucial experience by working alongside top Super Rugby players and seasoned Wallaby internationals. Through the season, Matthew’s performances in training paid off, as he was named on the bench for the Reds’ Super Rugby side in Super Rugby Pacific.

Seeking a new experience abroad, the Irish-qualified player headed to the All Ireland League, where he was picked up by Division 1A side Nenagh Ormond.
