Tom Cummins is a versatile Australian rugby player with over 100 grade appearances for his club in New South Wales, bringing a rare blend of front-row experience, back-row athleticism and genuine midfield capability. Beginning his career as a specialist tighthead prop, Tom quickly gained a reputation for technical excellence at scrum time, earning multiple club honours and becoming the first tighthead prop ever to win the Blowes Cup Player of the Year.

After several seasons dominating the set piece, Tom reshaped his game completely — dropping 25kg and transitioning into the backline. This move saw him take on the 13 jersey for Cowra’s 1st XV, where his powerful carrying, defensive reading, and strong contact skills translated seamlessly to the midfield. His background in the front row gives him a uniquely physical presence at 12/13 or No.8, with exceptional ball-carrying ability and collision dominance.

Tom is known for his leadership, humility, and commitment to club culture. He has spent recent seasons mentoring younger players, strengthening squad depth, and supporting reserve and developing players — all while remaining able to cover No.8, 12, 13, and tighthead prop when required.
