Reference: Stewart Falconer
I had the pleasure of coaching Stewart Falconer with the Hilton College 1st XV rugby teams of 2024 and 2025. Stewart is a very talented sportsman having played 1st team cricket along with his rugby. He is also deputy head boy as well as a strong academic. He certainly can juggle a few balls at one time. From a rugby point of view, Stewart is a hard working loose forward who uses his intelligence and leadership skills to good effect for the team. Stewart may not be the biggest loose forward, but his commitment, competitive spirit and relentless work rate mean that he has a very high team contribution. Stewart can jump in the Lineout, carry on attack, chase in the chase line, steal ball at the breakdown and make loads of tackles proving what a vital part of the team he is.
I will be sad to see Stewart leave Hilton College at the end of the year but am very confident that he will make a success of whatever he sets his mind on. He would be a great addition to any varsity rugby program as not only is he a quality rugby player but also a great young man who will excel in the classroom. I look forward to watching his progress from afar.
