Personal Overview

Ethan Grant – Rugby Player

I have been playing rugby for 15 years, developing my skills and experience at various competitive levels. I began my journey at Sandal RUFC, where I played from the age of 4 to 14, before moving to Pontefract RUFC, where I continue to play.

During my time at Pontefract, I had the opportunity to represent the Yorkshire Academy U17, competing against teams such as Harlequins, Sale Sharks, and Bath. Additionally, I played for Yorkshire County at the U16, U17, and U18 levels, which led to my selection for the North of England reserve squad.

I furthered my rugby career at Bishop Burton College, competing in the ACE League—a league formed by English Premiership teams in partnership with colleges. I also played for Bishop Burton University in BUCS 3, the third division of university rugby in England.

Currently, I am playing in the United States for American International College, a Division 1 program. Here, I continue to develop my skills, competing against some of the top teams in the country in both XVs and Sevens rugby.
