Personal Overview

My name is Jacob Denyer, and I am a fullback/wing currently playing for the Tawa Rugby Club in the Wellington Premier competition. I have represented the Wellington U19 team and am currently a member of the Hurricanes U20 squad. Last year, I was honored to be named my club’s Young Player of the Year, and I am now entering my second season with the aim of helping my team secure a championship title.

In addition to my rugby commitments, I balance a full-time career while continuing to train and compete at a high level. My ultimate goal is to further my rugby career internationally and pursue opportunities to break into the professional game.

My strengths include my running game, where I consistently beat the first defender, as well as my distribution skills, defensive capabilities from the back, and strong awareness both offensively and defensively in finding space. These abilities have been demonstrated through my participation in the Hurricanes U20 professional side in New Zealand.

I am open to all opportunities within the rugby world and am excited to take the next step in my journey.
