Personal Overview

Hello my name is Alfie Coop and I am a Scrum Half with winger experience seeking the opportunity to play rugby abroad. I have over 25 caps at National 2 East (Level 4) and am currently playing at Regional 1 South East (level 5) rugby. At school boy level I made Rosslyn Park 7s Quarter-Final and NatWest Schools Vase Semi-Final. I was also fortunate enough to captain and win back to back AoC Championship (North East) competitions and captain my colts team. When i was 13 I was lucky enough to be entered into the Leicster Tigers DPP and a few years later into the TDG at 15. Although not making it to the academy i was able to represent Leicster Tigers against other provinces linked to Leicster Tigers.

At college i studied Performance and Excellance in Sport and have a Level 2 coaching badge, this gave me an insight into coaching and allowed me to secure a rugby coaching role in schools. for the past 2 years i have been going to into various schools in my local area and delivering sessions to kids aged 6 to 18. I have taught lessons to over 50 kids at one time and also offered 1to1 coaching services in non sociable hours. Due to this my knowledge of the game has only grown and my attention to detail with it as well.
