Personal Overview

When I took my first steps as a child it was probably with a rugby ball in my hands. Cliche I know but with that being said, Ive played rugby throughout my whole school career and attended an all boys school, renowned for its rugby excellence. It definitely came with its challenges but I believe it brought out my competitive nature which I am thankful for. During school I was selected for two invitational touring side; one in 2016 to Christchurch, New Zealand and the other to Ireland in 2018. After School, in 2022 I had to opportunity to join a rugby club in Fiji and compete in the Waikiki 7's tournament. Currently I'm back in South Africa again and playing for Durbell Rugby Club where we have just completed our season winning the league.

I think what makes me an asset to a rugby team is my commitment on and off the field, my leadership qualities, honesty with myself and teammates and my  extroverted personality. Strengths of my game include:

kicking (87% conversion rate for 2024)

defensive communication

I am very passionate about the sport and am cuurently coaching kids rugby at foundation level.
