I am an enthusiastic, motivated rugby player who really wants to grow and develop their game. I like to work hard to improve different aspects of my game such as range of passes, different types of kicks and running game. I believe I work well within a team environment to help get the best out of teammates and myself.
I believe that my personal strengths would be the ability to understand the game and read it, controlling a game. My off both hands in a variety of ways, variety of kicks such as box kicks, restarts, kicks to touch, attacking kicks and goal kicking. Open play when the game has lost its structure to ability to attack spaces and play quick ball when on the front foot of attack. Communicating with teammates on the field to help get the best out of them.
I have played rugby since under 8's rugby at my local rugby club alongside playing school rugby throughout secondary school at the Burgate School. Since playing rugby at both school and my local rugby club I have captained both teams on many occasions. At the start of my colts rugby I moved to Oakmedians RFC where i had to meet lots of new people and fit into a new team. I played there for my colts rugby and have really enjoyed it and learnt lots from my different coaches at Oakmedians as well as Fordingbridge RFC and school rugby.
I can play both scrum half and fly half
In under 13's I was asked to trial for London Irish Development Players Programme, in which I was fortunate enough to get into. I played and trained in the London Irish Development Players Programme from under 13's to and including under 16's age group.
In under 14's I was asked to trial for the Bath Rugby Development Players Programme, in which I was fortunate enough to get into. Which I was in from under 14's to under 16's as well. This was very similar to the London Irish set up I was also attending. Both these set ups involved having to drive to trainings and games midweek and weekends whilst still studying at school.
I moved to Oakmedians RFC in 2022 for colts rugby and enjoyed joining a new team where I knew no one and had to meet new people. In my last season at colts level we reached the county final and won it.
I am now still playing at Oakmedians RFC for the mens team
