Personal Overview

I am James Botha, I am currently 19 years old, and from Pretoria, South Africa.

I am looking to broaden my horizons and look for opportunities to further my rugby career by playing abroad 

I have spent two years in the first team squad for Pretoria Boys High School, as well as spending this last year at the Rugby Travel Academy (RTA). RTA is one of the best high performance academies in South Africa and has exposed me to the training and intensity of Professional rugby. It has also given me the opportunity to face some of the best U/20 teams in the country, such as The Blue Bulls U/20 and the Tuks young guns.

This previous year i have also been on trial in France at clubs such as Vannes Rugby Club, La Rochelle, and Stade Montais.

I would be willing to play in any Division abroad, but due to the weak South African passport i would need help finding work in the local area, as well as help securing a working visa. Any other benefits such Flights, Accommodation, Gym and a match fee would simply be a nice extra.
