Personal Overview

I am Diego Alejandro Carrera, I have a unique blend of strength, agility, and tactical prowess, which makes me a lethal front rower. I currently weigh 104 kg and stand at 172 cm (5'8" ft) tall. I play as a loosehead prop/hooker.

As an explosive ball carrier, I dominate the field with powerful runs that break through defensive lines. I am a sure tackler in 1v1 scenarios. I am a constant threat on defense with my ability to jackal and poach the ball to create a turnover. I play rugby with a massive chip on my shoulder. On the field, I am an asset with my communication skills. I specialize in no-gain tackles in tryzone situations. Inversely, on offense, my low center of gravity and leg drive make me an excellent try-zone option. I am a strong loosehead prop in the scrum. My height makes it easy to wedge under and across the tighthead's chest to drive them and create a weak angle. I have experience as a hooker as well and am keen on expanding my knowledge of the positions. 

What sets me apart is my diverse athletic background, having excelled in lacrosse, jiujitsu, judo, and Olympic weightlifting. This cross-training has honed my agility and strength, enabling me to move swiftly despite my weight. 

In critical moments, I have demonstrated my ability to capitalize on mistakes and create mismatches and opportunities. Whether in scrums, open play, or defensive stands, I embody the qualities of a versatile and effective rugby player.
