Personal Overview

My name is Tom Boggemann, 19 years old and I am from the Netherlands. I am looking for an international rugby agency company to help me make my rugby dream come true. I have been playing rugby for the last 10 years. Once I finished school back in the Netherlands, I made the decision to go abroad. I ended up in the UK. I played 2 years for Ellesmere college on a rugby Scholarship. After getting my BTEC diploma there I made the decision to take it up another level and study & play rugby at Swansea University. At Swansea University we play Super BUCS rugby which is the highest level within university. I am involved with the national team since U16 and in 2023 we won the U20 European Championship for the first time

Coaching References

 Zach Howson

Tom is a super hard working a passionate player, always willing to do more for the team and has no worries putting his body on the line. Very dangerous around vulnerable rucks, Tom has near immaculate technique when it comes to ball stealing. Tom is always super enthusiastic and is never any trouble to coach. Always wanting to help the boys around him learn or better his skill set. Tom had previously played halfback and has an extremely crisp pass and is a great decision maker. Having tom on any team would be massive benefit without a doubt, as-well as him being a great rugby play he is a sensational young man and is a pleasure to be around

At North Midlands we were very impresses with your skill, energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to work with the coaches. As experienced ex national league / championship players both CJ and I can see you have a very bright future ahead of you in rugby so it's important not to view this in a negative way

Alex Murphy Director of Rugby Ellesmere College

Tom joined us in 2021 as part of the sixth form. Since joining Tom has been an integral part of the Ellesmere College 1st XV.

He displays an enthusiastic attitude to all things rugby related. When it comes to training Tom could be described as “obsessive” about the game. He is keen to improve and willing to put in the hard work. He is a member of the Ellesmere College academy which involves extra conditioning and sport psychology lectures. Tom displays an exemplary attitude towards these extra sessions and has become a cultural architect when it comes to staying on and doing “extras”. His hunger for development is not just restricted to the physical side of training. He is always keen to ask for material to help him as a rugby player such as recommendations for sport psychology books.

On the field, Toms positive and enthusiastic attitude seems to be reflected in his performance. He displays high levels of aerobic and anaerobic fitness which is an integral aspect of his game. His tackle and carry count are often in double figures. He has a particular talent for turning ball over at the breakdown and displays good levels of speed and acceleration. These attributes and natural communication skills, resulted in Tom being handed a leadership role this season.
