Personal Overview

I am currently seeking a semi-pro/pro position as a Rugby player. I have solid

achievements both on and off the field and a determined desire to make a career

as a professional player.

Following my A-Level studies I spent a period working and studying in the north of

France where I gained further experience with SCR Sporting Club Royannais, Seniors

Fed 2.

I then signed for Worthing RFC in National League 2 for the 2021 season, before

returning to Italy at the end of the year due to ongoing covid restrictions.

I have spent the last two seasons in Italy playing for Siena Rugby Club in the Serie B

division, however, my aim is to secure a semi-pro/professional position for this

forthcoming 2024/2025 season.

Sporting Experience (rugby)

• 2021/2023 CUS Siena (Serie B), Italy

• 2020/2021- Worthing Raiders (Worthing RFC) National League 2, UK

• 2019/2020 - SCR Sporting Club Royannais, Seniors Fed 2 (1st in

league), France

• March 2020 - Academy trials with Valence Romans Drôme Rugby (Pro D2)

and US Carcassonne (Pro D2)

• Summer 2018 - the Leinster School of Excellence in Rugby, Ireland.

• 2018/2019 - U18 Ghibellini Siena, Italy – Playing 1st team under 18. Named man

of the match for 4 out of 9 matches Sept-Dec 2018.

• 2017 Season - Started playing 1st team under 18s for Ghibellini Siena as

Scrum/Fly-Half. Then progressed to the semi-finals of the qualifying rounds of

the National Elite league.

• 2015/2016 - U16 Blundells school and U16 Tiverton RFC, England. Received

awards for Rugby, long distance running, cricket and athletics at Blundells

School.

• 2014 - U14 at Blundells School, England. Completed trials for the Devon

Academy. Completed trials for Exeter Chiefs Academy

Archie for ten years, and have watched his development over that time. I have further had
the pleasure of coaching him at the Leinster School of Excellence in 2018.
Archie has shown incredible dedication to his goal of becoming a rugby player in the time
that I’ve known him, starting young in both rugby training, as well as a commitment to his
diet and exercise.
He is a very strong defensive player who never takes a step back on a challenge. Archie has
a very good eye for reading the game, with an ability to put himself into attacking space or
support others to do so. He has worked hard on his kicking game, and has progressed into a
steady and capable kicker. Archie is incredibly adaptable, having played in Italy, England, France and
in rugby camps in Ireland, and I have seen that his personality and skillset allows him to slot
seamlessly into each team environment.
Archie approaches his rugby with professionalism beyond his years. I look forward to
watching his rugby career progress and recommend that any rugby team considers him to
join their squad.
