Personal Overview

I am an enthustic rugby player who keeps himself strong and fit. Seeking to maximize performance on and off the field. 

I have played rugby since I was 8. Starting my rugby journey at Ashington RFC as a junior before moving to Morpeth RFC to play colts and senior rugby.

As a colt i was vice captain/pack leader in my senior year. I also had the privilege of representing the Northumberland County at u16s through to under 20s. I also had the honour of being named vice captain/pack leader whilst representing Northumberland u18s. During this year I was also put forward for The North of England trials, but sadly due to injury could not attend.

During my first few years of senior rugby I made my way through the ranks from Morpeth stags (4th XV) to Morpeth Reivers (2nd XV). 

At 20 years old I headed over seas to travel New Zealand. Here I landed myself in the first team at Leamington Cambridge. I played the duration of the 2020/21 season, gaining some great 1st XV experience and finishing as runners up in the Waikato Div 1.

I then played the 2021/22 season at Morpeth securing my place as a 1st XV starter in the North East 1 league.

Thoughout my rugby career in have been labelled as a 'small' player. To counter this I have worked hard off the pitch to make up for my lack of size with speed and agility. I pride myself on my ability to use my 'top two inches' to out smart the opposition.

Alongside rugby I compete in Olympic weightlifting, I have found this hobby has gave me the explosive power needed to deal with the big boys found on the rugby pitch.

I also have a great love and admiration for rugby 7s. I have had the privilege to play for many teams in various competitions from social to elite. Including Morpeth colts, the Mighty Peth, Play Boy Scrummies, S Club 7s and Tyndale RFC.

Most of my rugby career I have played as an openside flaker, however I also have 1st XV experience playing scrum half, centres, fullback and wing. Meaning I bring versatility to any team I represent.
