Personal Overview
My name is Blessing Motaung and I am a South African rugby player. I currently reside in Switzerland and playing in the National League A for Rugby Club Yverdon. After struggling with the covid pandemic I started playing again in Switzerland and have won the Swiss title and man-of-the match with my club.
I’ve spent my career playing with some good institutions in Johannesburg, South Africa (University of Johannesburg, Xerox Lions 7s, Dubai 7s Invitational) and then moved to the US for two years. I struggled with the visa situation in the US but played many rugby fixtures and tournaments and I was also part of two MLR Training Squads (Old Glory DC & Houston Sabercats).
My goal is to get to France. ProD2/ Nationalé would be ideal. I am hoping to make a move into the second leg of the season and looking for all the help I can get. My dream has always been to play in France. I hope I can get some positive feedback and help as soon as possible.
