Owen Cumming is a 22-year-old MLR Academy (Toronto) and University (McGill - RSEQ) league all-star 1st XV scrumhalf from Canada. The McGill leading points scorer has played for the 1st XV at the club, provincial, representative, university and MLR academy level.

Owen began playing his rugby in Ontario, suiting up for Toronto City RFC and the Toronto Saracens in the early 2000s. Soon after, he took his rugby to the West Coast, competing for Shawnigan Lake School, Cowichan RFC, the North Island Tsunami Academy and the British Columbia Provincial team - appearing in 6 provincial finals (winning 4), while also making two Canadian National Rugby Championship finals appearances (winning one). Since then, Owen was recruited to McGill University, helping the team make 2 RSEQ finals, while also receiving RSEQ all-star accolades (2019 & 2021) and being awarded the school’s Jean Béliveau Athletic Award and the team’s Dr. Joseph Hanaway Award. Owen still competes for the University while playing for the Montreal Irish in the Quebec Super League and the Toronto Arrows MLR Academy.
