Personal Overview

My name is Diego Ignacio Torres Sandoval, I am 26 years old, weigh 95 kg/209lbs, height 174cm/5.7"ft. and I have 14 years of experience as a rugby player where I played as N°2,7,8,9,10, 11,12,13,14,15 in XV and N°2,10,12,14 in VII, I am a physical education teacher at San Sebastian University, Santiago de Chile with 6 years of experience as a coach of minor divisions, female and adult the U.R.M.A rugby club, in addition to a vast experience as a Sevens player.

I started playing rugby when I was 12 years old, my father invited me to participate as a player in a social rugby project where this sport was opened to the community, the first time I managed to tackle I fell in love with this sport.

At 16, I participated in the national pre-selection process, just like at 18.

I entered the university team where we were four-time champions (2014-2018).

2nd in the national university sevens competition (2018).
