Jules is part of the National team U18 of the Netherlands since the start of the programme As the head coach of this selection I got to know Jules as a talented and exciting player within the team.

Jules plays winger because of his finishing abilities but he is more than able to play centre or full back. 

I know Jules as a hardworking and eager to teach player who’s therefore very coachable. Jules is blessed with a strong physique and good speed which gives him a lot of advantage especially in his age group.

Jules is working hard to achieve his goals. He loves the game and one day he will become a professional rugby player. His physical, speed, skills and self-confidence have already taken him far. However, this is just the beginning. Jules has a strong drive and finishing is what he does best.  

This is the perfect time for Jules to spread his wings and to get out of his comfort zone. Jules likes to be challenged; sometimes he wants to know the ins and the outs about the game plan. Although sometimes he’s not directly convinced, he knows what to do when it comes down to it.  His strong points: Jules is fast and he’s pretty physical for his age, so he’s a strong carrier. He likes to laugh and has a positive mind-set. When I see Jules attacking with the ball I see confidence and it looks comfortable and usually does result in success. His technical skills are of high standards.

His development points will be communication during the game. Although he is a social young man with potential to lead, he can improve in his expression. To be perfect he can also improve in his work rate in defence. He’s a decent tackler but in a stronger competition he’ll need more than only good technic.
