Personal Overview

My name is Malo Matakivugalei Vuata. I am 24 years old. I started playing rugby at the age of 10 and have since had a passion for the sport. I represented my school across Fiji as a rugby player playing in the wing/center position as well as a sprinter in both 100m and 200m races with the time of 10.64 seconds for 100m and 20.88 seconds for 200m. 
I joined the rugby academy in Lelean Rugby Academy after my 6th form in high school and went on to play in a few local clubs around Fiji including Tabadamu 7s and won the deans rugby competition in 2016 which is the highest award in the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union. I definitely played more games than that of which were recorded due to the lack of proper tools and resource limitations in Fiji. I only wish I had been playing under better and more advanced circumstances for the sake of providing a better video and highlights of the great years spent on the rugby field. 
I moved to Al ain, United Arab Emirates with my wife and daughter and joined the local club here called Al ain Amblers Rugby Club with the Senior Men's 10s rugby team. On my first game here I scored 2 tries and was named the best player and scored a total of 6 tries on my second game. I wanted to look for new opportunities to improve in my skills and challenge myself to bigger things and develop as a rugby player and as a person. 

I have speed and strength while also having respect and the desire to learn new things. I am a quick learner and a team player while also being able to do things in my own initiatives. I am enthusiastic and reliable.
