BACKGROUND

Sean was born in Ontario, Canada in 2002. He is a Canadian citizen.

He moved to South Africa in 2006 with his dad, where he started to play rugby and do Judo at age 4 years old in South Africa. 

He has been playing full tackle rugby since age 6 at Afrikaans rugby schools in South Africa.

The two main schools are Louw Geldenhuys "Louwtjies" in Johannesburg and Beaumont Primary School in Somerset West in Western Cape

He played many sports competitively at school during his time in South Africa: e.g., Swimming, Cricket, and track-n-field (including Long Jump and High Jump).

During his 8 years in South Africa, he achieved his national colors (JSA) in Judo twice.

He moved back to Canada in 2014

Sean joined the Oakville Crusaders Rugby club and Upright Rugby Academy,

He represented Rugby Ontario age group teams since the age of 14 for both 7s and 15s

He got selected to represent Canada against the USA In 2018/2019 & 2019/2020 in the Canadian Age Group U18 Team.

He earned his 1st cap in July 2019 against the USA U18 team.

Sean also made several international touring teams on the club and provincial levels. (USA, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England & Northern Ireland)

Sean was selected to train with the Arrows men's Academy in Guelph, Ontario during the 2020/2021 Season

Saen was selected to play on the Guelph Gryphons University Team in the 2020/2021 season

Sean is also a strong 7s player, where he represented the Upright Rogues Elite Team and Ontario provincial team at 7s on multiple occasions during this period.

In 2021 Sean decided to pursue a career in professional rugby and moved to Dublin Ireland to play rugby in the men's club league and joined the Rugby Academy of Ireland to improve his core skills.
