Personal Overview

. I am a 23 year old scrum half/full back who has been playing rugby for 18 years. I am in the final semester of my Master’s in Architectural Engineering and am looking to focus on rugby once I have completed my studies which are currently online and are due to finish in April. As a player I am extremely self-motivated and expect the best from myself. I constantly hold myself to the highest of standards and am always looking to improve. Throughout this lockdown, as rugby has largely been cancelled, I have maintained my fitness and skill levels through self-guided and prescribed work. As I have played rugby since I was young, I understand that working well as a team is just as important as working well as an individual.

As a team player I seek to bring out the best in those around me. My leadership skills are evident in how I play as a scrum half, as it is an integral part of the position. This involves deciding when to run, to kick, to speed up the game, or slow it down. This means that I am able to read the game and make quick decisions to achieve the best outcome. I always aim to play the game at a high speed with an attack orientated mindset.
