Personal Overview

I am a 21-year-old British born, South African raised Rugby Player, who has gained extensive knowledge and experience over the past 16 years playing rugby, which began at the age of 5. This has developed me into a strong individual player, as well as dedicated team player.

I am a confident player whose primary position is playing 13. With further experience over the past 16 years, I have also had the opportunity playing position 12 on occasions when needed. Over time I have become very versatile with further experience over the past 2 years playing confidently on the wing as 11 and 14 from 2021 to 2023.

In addition, my strong sense of discipline, work ethic and people skills has helped me develop into a skilled rugby player that is able to train and play at high stress level situations, whether as an individual or in a team setting. 

Rugby as a whole has taught me the most important values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline, sportsmanship and trust amongst one’s fellow team mates. Most important of all, is the friendships and comradery that has developed and continued over the years up until now in my rugby career and experiences playing for different clubs. 

Todate, I have enjoyed my journey as a rugby player and have been very grateful to have developed and grown through the experiences and opportunities I have been given over the years, which has developed me into the player I have become: 

·         2013 to 2018 – Selected for High School representation - 1st Team Rugby

·         2015 – Selected for U15’s Leicester Tigers DPP (Developing Player Programme)

·         2016 – Selected for U16’s Leicester Tigers PDP (Player Development Programme)

·         2016 – Selected for Leicester Tigers U16’s County Oakham Tiger’s Rugby Festival

·         2016 – 2020 Selected for Staffordshire County Team’s – U15’s, U16’s, U18’s and U20’s  

·         2017 – Selected for NORTH WEST HALBRO JUNIOR COLTS LEAGUE Trentham RFC U17's

·         2018 – 2020 Selected for Leicester Tigers AASE Programme at Brooksby Melton College

·         2019 – Selected for Nottingham Rugby Academy Programme U18's

·         2019 – Selected for England U18's Midlands County Team

·         2019 and 2020 – Selected for UK Colleges Rosslyn Park HSBC National 7's College Team

·         2020 – Selected for England U20's Midlands County Team

·         2020 - 2022 and 2023 – Selected for Premier Midlands Division 1^st XV

·         2022 - 2023 Selected for National League Rugby Division (National 2 WEST)

202023 - 2024 - Selected to play in Germnay - Oranien Raptors Regional ( Coach - John Mulvihill)

Over the years, I developed a known trade mark of my Yellow Scrum Cap, which many supporters/people have gotten to know over the years of me playing rugby. The reason behind this, is for my grandparents, whom all live in South Africa, watch my recorded games over YouTube and Veo. The easiest way for them to spot me while watching my recorded rugby games, is by identifying me by my Yellow Scrum Cap. 

I look forward to what the furture holds and hope that I will further to be able to develop myself as a rugby player, with future opportunities.
