Profile 

I’m a 23-year-old outside back who plays in the South East of England for National 3 side Westcombe Park 1st Team. I have played here for four seasons now, beginning in the back 3 (specialised at 15) and in the 19/20 campaign playing 13 (current preference). 

Playing Career 

Westcombe Park 1st Team – 2016 to Present  

Was involved heavily in the 19/20 season which saw the team promoted back to National 3. I moved to 13 after multiple coaches encouraging the idea, in my first game at 13 I had 2 assists, 1 try, 4 penalty turnovers and received Man of The Match.  

Drummoyne Rugby (Sydney) - 2016  

Moved to Sydney for a short period of time to play rugby (4 months). Began in their colts but within a few weeks of being there I was representing 1st grade as well. Often playing minutes for the Colts, 2nd Grade and 1st Grade all in the same day. 

Crowborough Rugby Club 2014-2016 

Playing 1st Team rugby for CRFC, spending the majority of my time at 15 or wing.

As the 1XV captain of Westcombe Park RFC for the last three seasons, it is my pleasure to provide a character reference for Harry Sansbury’s 

Harry is a dedicated, hardworking and skilful rugby player alongside being a brilliant team-mate and club man. He embodies everything that is core to Rugby Union, from always giving 100% at training, to reviewing macthes, personal performances to attending many club events.  

Harry consistently arrives before training to practice his core skills, kicking and prehab work, setting a great example for the squad, earning his place within the 1XV senior players group after a few seasons. I have played alongside Harry for the past four years, seeing him earn 50+ caps predominantly at fullback but also stepping into the centres for last seasons campaign, making him an asset to any backline. Harry commands the skies at fullback, relives pressure with good distance and makes aggressive covering tackles. At outside centre he draws in defences and creates space to put players through, rarely misses his tackles and is more than happy to be getting assists as well as tries.  

Harry is a very good rugby player who has a lot to offer on and off the pitch. I encourage you to give Harry strong consideration as I have no doubt, he will be an asset to your club – our loss is your gain.
