Personal Overview

I am a semi-professional rugby player from South Africa looking for an opportunity to continue playing rugby abroad. The reason for looking to play abroad, is that I’m looking for a better life for me and my partner than staying in South Africa.

I've been playing rugby from the age of 5. Although I have always had the necessary skills, I was a late developer and only got into great physical shape over the past two years that took my rugby to the next level. I played scrumhalf throughout high school  but moved to flyhalf/fullback there after. At the end of last season I decided to move back to scrumhalf as I believe it is the best position for my skill set and for rugby career in the long term.

 I believe that God has a purpose for me to make a difference in the world and inspire people to follow their dreams and that no matter where you come from, you can achieve greatness. I believe that my professionalism, hardworking nature and intelligence would be an asset to any team. My long term goal would be to take up coaching after my playing days are over and would appreciate a club that can help me accomplish that.   

I’m willing to do what ever it takes to make it and provide a better life for my family.
