Reason on why I play:

I started to play rugby at the age of 8 after listening to a couple of guys talking about rugby after Sunday School and this slowly started to turn into me playing around with them after Sunday School until I hit middle school where I joined my 1st rugby team which was Sandys Secondary Middle School Panthers. Shortly after I started playing for Sandy’s I was introduced to the national team by my coach who said I should try it out and I instantly loved it. In the year 2014 I was thinking about taking a bit of break from rugby as life was starting to try and draw me away from rugby. Unfortunately, two of the people who had introduced me to the game of rugby passed away due to a bike accident and a heart attack respectively, this gave me a new born fire to push me to become the best player I possibly can. After this incident my goal of becoming a professional rugby player came back again which lead to me putting in extras off the training pitch. This reasoning was amplified even more so by the death of a very close friend and teammate who was killed in a boating accident on New Years Day 2019. These are the main reasons why I play rugby and why I play the way I do.
