Personal Overview

Summary

Young Flyhalf with high aspirations and drive to gain experience to progress to the highest level of rugby. Highly skilled player who can perform under high pressure situations and always looking to learn more and increase ability. I have good knowledge of what it takes to be professional and put it in practice both on and off the field. Big team player who has has experience beyond age. Very confident goalkicker.

Experience

  • Ulster U16-19 - 2015-17. Played multiple games over the years whilst still in school. Spent at least 4 full working days a week for 3 summers learning what it took to be professional and working on skills whilst training against academy players at the age of 17. Sacrificed time and holidays in order to become the best player possible.

  • Northumbria University 2018-Present date. Starting Flyhalf for the BUCs super rugby league side and had to raise my game in terms of research and analysis to prepare and direct the team in order to compete in the best university league in the UK. We travel all around the UK and some trips have taken 8+ hours, further showing aspects of the professional game.

  • Campbell College Belfast 1st XV 2015-18. Had 3 years on the 1st XV at school level. Reached the Ulster schools cup final at 16 and won the  schools cup 2 years later at 18 years old. Learned teamwork and leadership qualities. Dedication and commitment whilst still studying in school.

  • Bangor RFC in Ireland. 2018-present. My home club that play in AIL 2C. Transitioned from school boy rugby to play against fully grown men. This is where my game management skills were fully learned as it is a league format. Every game matters and staying up/winning games is very important to the club. Having to learn to also take charge of men many years senior to myself has progressed my leadership skills as well. It is also a very social club which developed my team skills and social aspect of the sport.
