Personal Overview

I am a passionate rugby player with a long history of accomplishments on the rugby field. Started as wing and centre in primary school, as well as during my junior years in high school. As u/16 player I moved to lock and was elected for Golden Lion’s Academy team in this position. Played lock and flank for high school’s first team for two years. Post matric played flank for UJ’s u/19 Varsity Cup team as well as for a Lion’s u/19 Invitation Team.

Attended All Stars Rugby Academy (ASRA) and played for QBR u/20, was chosen as captain of the side and was awarded Forward of the Year Award. Played in the German Seven’s National Championship in Frankfurt in 2018.

Played flank for QBR (Harlequins) senior level during 2019.

I have just recently got back after playing in the German Bundesliga 1 for the Berlin Grizzlies after 1 and a half years of playing for them

I have successfully completed a Level 1 IRB Sevens Coaching Certification.

I have proven abilities as team player and fierce loyalty to courses I believe in. I am self-driven and adept at pro-active thinking. I have exhibited leadership abilities by performing leadership roles on primary, secondary as well as post-school level.

I am goal driven and who enjoy competition and perform well under pressure. I have demonstrated hard work and dedication in reaching accolades on the rugby field. I am known here for a knack to engage with and motivate team mates. Years of participating in team sports ensured cultural sensitivity.
