Profile Overview

I started my sportive career as a football player for my town’s team when I was 7 years old. In 2004, my team and I became national champions. In 2005, I began playing rugby for the junior varsity reigning Lithuanian champions. I was voted the top player of Lithuanian juniors for two consecutive years and played on the U-18 team. At just 17 years old, I was recognized as the best player of the team.

In 2008, I attended a U-18 tryout at the London Wasps Academy. In 2006, I played in the Irish National League and was named the junior league's best player, also serving as the goal kicker. In addition to rugby, I attended boxing training sessions and became the heavyweight champion.

In 2008, I started playing for the Lithuanian men’s champion team and became a Lithuanian champion. I turned professional in 2009 with my first club, VVA-Monino (Moscow, Russia), where we won Russia’s premiership league.

Subsequently, I moved to South Africa to play for Natal Sharks U-21, where we finished second in the Currie Cup U-21. I was named Man of the Match five times. After this, I joined Sale Sharks (United Kingdom), but after a few games, I suffered an injury. Following rehabilitation, I moved to Bordeaux Begles (France), where I played in the Top 14 and Amlin Cup until 2013.

In 2013, I joined the powerful Krasnojarsk rugby club (Russia), starting all games and helping the team win the Russian championship. In 2014, I moved to Provence Rugby (formerly LE PARC Rugby), and our team won the Federal 1 season that year. I played 24 games and had the most minutes on the team. In 2015, during PRO D2, I was among the top four players for minutes played, appearing in 25 games.

Currently, I am playing in the Federal 1 elite group for Provence Rugby. From 2017 to 2019, I played for the French club USBPA. In my first year, we finished second in Federal 1 elite, and the following year, we competed in Pro D2. After finishing my professional career due to injury, I transitioned into coaching for the Lithuanian National Team and Regbio Klubas Vairas, where I began my rugby journey.

I specialize as a second-row player, focusing on scrums ,line outs and game plans, bringing strategic expertise to the field.
