Profile Overview

A young enthusiastic coach with a willingness to develop and learn new skills. Over the last six seasons coaching Senior Mens & Womens Age Grade Rugby, I have faced many challenges which have provided plenty of learning opportunities for me, both as a coach and an individual and I feel I have developed hugely as a result. I have learned that player management and development are priorities within coaching. When coaching, I believe that it is extremely important to create learning environments which allow players to reach their full potential with maximum support. Players and individuals learn in many different ways, and I believe that it is important to self develop at any opportunity to accommodate the different ways players learn. I would like to continue to develop my knowledge and gain resources that will help me develop players. I currently work within Rugby Development with Scarlets Rugby and previously The Welsh Rugby Union. Within these environments I have access to highly-recognised coaches and resources to further develop my own coaching skills.
