Club Overview

Oxford Rugby Club is a small North Canterbury Rugby Club, witha very proud tradition of success. We are looking to play the same style of play as the Canterbury Crusaders Super 15 team. This takes more skill, better physical development and a different outlook mentally. The Senior Team is playing in two competitions. The first is a combined competition with 19 other senior teams - in two separate pools based on last years ranking. The second competition is based just on our traditional North Canterbury clubs. From these competition a North Canterbury Representative team is selected. They play Ellesmere to determine who makes the Canterbury Country Representative team. Canterbury Country has a South Island wide competition. This is the pathway to ITM Cup Canterbury Provincial Rep Team and Super 15 Rugby.
