Club Overview

Wasps FC, Twyford Avenue, London W3 9QA.

Nearest tubes: Ealing Common, Acton Town, West Ealing, Acton Elizabeth Line.

Wasps FC is the original Wasps rugby club, and the amateur cousins of the famous professional club, Wasps. Lawrence Dalaglio, Simon Shaw, Rob Andrew, Sue Day, Giselle Mather and numerous legends are members of our club and started their rugby with us. In 2016 Wasps professionals moved to Coventry after 150 years under the same roof. Last year the professional side left the professional leagues and until they start-up again, the only rugby in a Wasps shirt will be at the original club in Acton - us! We are one of the biggest rugby club in West London with 4 mens teams, women, 10 youth teams and a huge minis section.

We are a committed all-amateur club. No player payments are made but we have sponsors who pay subs for players who have recently played higher levels than us. (Regional level). We play in the very competitive Counties 2 division, level 8, with teams like Saracens and Ealing amateurs. We need a handful of good players to help us rise to level 6 over the next couple of years. That's mainly about the mens side, but get in touch to be directed to the women's section, who play in the Womens National Conference.

We're after lads (and lasses for our women's teams) who've played good rugby at university or elsewhere but who might not have the time or inclination to commit to a national league club. Players will need to train at least one a week, but we understand that careers/girlfiends/boyfriends other commitments need a look-in too. We have an on-site gym and clubhouse, and our program includes physio, personalised S&C and month analytics.
