Club Overview

This season we have hosted two Premier Grade U.Q. Brisbane graduates. They have played in Midland West South 4 (Level 9). We are currently top of this league and aspire to level 8 next season (we have now won the league and been promoted!!!). It is fair to say that our current Aussies have enjoyed the experience of being “bigger fish in a smaller pool” and as such, have developed many aspects of their leadership/coaching/game skills. The rugby playing is only part of what these lads are experiencing! They have already travelled extensively throughout the U.K./Ireland and intend visiting other European countries at the end of their contract. We wish to repeat this arrangement next season and are extending the invitation to other University Rugby Clubs in the Southern Hemisphere or Europe.

What we expect:
A commitment to First Team rugby/coaching with some involvement in our Junior Section. The lads to be responsible for their own match insurance, flights and visas.     Both lads this year travelled on a 2 year visa, as a couple of mates and this has worked well. The offer would suit a similar student couple of players wanting to travel post graduation. Please circulate within your club and feel free to revert with any questions. Both the current lads (having just played in the Hong Kong 10’s) are more than happy to communicate with any prospective takers. We would hope to get names in the frame within the next few months.

Club Details

1. Employment for one, full-time based on a 5 day week at Phoenix Organics Ltd (please take a look at www.phoenixorganics.ltd.uk) This would involve depot work and some van driving (age requirement 21 years + licence) Also, there is agricultural employment available. 2. Accommodation. Players responsible for paying and the club will help find. The current lads lodge in a country pub!! and this option can be extended next season. 3. Bromyard to supply a taxed, insured car.
