Club Overview

We are looking to recruit 2 players for the whole of the 2014/15 & 15/16, season August to July. Our club is Malton and Norton RUFC; we are based in North Yorkshire and play North 1 East. We are a Level  6 club within the England RFU leagues.

Club Details

We can offer return flights to the UK, subsidised accommodation, (currently £50/week per player) and full time employment. However as a club with charitable status we are not allowed to pay a match fee. The employment opportunities are:- Firstly, working within a furniture retail complex, owned by 2 of our major sponsors, with Saturdays clear to play rugby, providing support with deliveries and warehouse duties. Secondly, employment at a local secondary school, working as a teaching assistant to coach and promote rugby to boys and girls within the 11-18 age group. Additional work is offered at the school based community sports centre. For this post a coaching qualification would be useful and recent CRB ( Criminal Records Bureau clearance essential, although we can get CRB clearance for the right player in England). Additionally both players will be able supplement their income by assisting with coaching Junior teams and helping to run our O2 Community Touch Programme. We will also make provision throughout their placement to pay for attendance at RFU coaching courses throughout their stay in return for helping coach our juniors on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings .
