Nomads Rugby Club is a growing central west city, community-focused rugby club in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, committed to developing players of all ages and abilities. Our Senior Men proudly represent the club in the Rugby Ontario Marshall Championship, while our Senior Women compete at the highest level in the Rugby Ontario OWL Premiership.
We are equally passionate about growing our minis and youth programs, nurturing the next generation of rugby players in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Our high school initiatives strengthen the connection between schools and the Nomads, providing clear pathways for player development, recruitment and retention.

We are currently seeking a Director of Rugby, Senior Men's Head Coach, Senior Women's Head Coach, and Junior Coaches for the 2026 season.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Director of Rugby
• Lead strategic direction and long-term development of the rugby and club program.
• Oversee pathways from junior to senior levels and mentor staff.
• Drive recruitment, retention, and community engagement.
• Coordinate season planning, training structures, and performance standards.
Senior Men’s Head Coach / Senior Women’s Head Coach
• Oversee all aspects of the program, including team culture and development.
• Deliver engaging training for new and experienced players.
• Manage selection, game strategy, and matchday coaching.
• Support player recruitment and program growth.
• Foster a positive, competitive team environment.
Assistant Coach Roles / 2XV Lead Coaches
● Support Head Coach in planning and delivering training sessions.
● Provide individual coaching and feedback to improve player skills and performance.
● Assist with game-day coaching, substitutions, and strategy implementation.
● Help create a positive, safe, and team-focused environment.
● Support player development, communication, and club values.
Junior Coaching Roles (U6–U18)
• Coach and guide young players in a safe, supportive environment.
• Deliver age-appropriate, enjoyable, skills and game-based training.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and club values.
High School Coaching Roles
• Coach school teams and support player development pathways.
• Design sessions that build rugby IQ, confidence, and technical ability.
• Prepare teams for competition and manage game-day coaching.
• Build strong relationships with staff, players, and families and support transition from school to club.
