Club Overview

Capilano plays in the BC men's premier league, which is the top amateur competition in North America and the next level below MLR. We have 3-4 MLR players playing with us in the first half of the season before the MLR season starts up. We've produced a number of internationals and professionals over the years (most famously Jamie Cudmore). We have 3 men's teams, 2 women's teams and a robust youth program that runs from U6 all the way up to men's. We believe our facilities are the best around, we have 2 fields, an all-weather training field, a gym, and full changeroom facilities. We also boast the best clubhouse in BC. We're located at the base of 3 world-class ski resorts and are in the birthplace of Mountain Biking. Traditionally we've almost solely relied on our local high school programs, retaining athletes coming back from Uni and having the odd foreign player turn up, but we are now running a very targeted recruitment program looking for some key players to bolster our squad at priority positions of need. Season start in September runs until mid November with a break for winter (skiing) and picks up again in February and runs until mid April, with finals the first week of May.
