Club Overview

Kempsey Cannonballs Rugby Union Club, established in 1975, on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia. We are heading into our 50th year in 2025 and seeking quality Front Row & Second row players to help our chances of winning the premiership. We are also opened to other positions for the right candidate.

Club Details

The Kempsey Cannonballs have age groups from under 6's, through to First XV, for both Male and Female Rugby players. Training is held in Kempsey, although our home games are played at the lovely coastal town of Crescent Head. We hold an annual Rugby 7s tournament in February, then proceed straight into preseason games/tournaments, prior to the competition start in April. 

The club is very social, with all players having great social lifes in and out of the Rugby Club. Our previous recruits have always given great feedback regarding the way the Kempsey Cannonballs made them feel at home whilst they were in Australia.

The Kempsey Cannonballs have had numerous players excel into the top level, including playing for the Wallabies, the Australia 7s, Cronulla Sharks, Melbourne Rebels.
