Pigs who ruck and maul and ski! 

Play rugby in the heart of the NSW Snowy Mountains (yes, there is snow in Australia!) and enjoy an Aussie ski season at Perisher or Thredbo ski resorts in winter plus incredible mountain biking and lake activities on Lake Jindabyne in autumn, spring and summer. 

We’re located around 2 hours drive from Canberra and 5 hours drive from Sydney, with the pristine beaches of the NSW Sapphire Coast between 2-3 hours drive. 

Our men's team, known as the Bushpigs, have enjoyed incredible success in recent years, claiming the premiership in 2022, 2023 and 2024, with the last two years being undefeated.

Our women's team - the Miss Piggies - plays 10-a-side rugby and has been competitive in recent years as they build towards their 20th anniversary in 2026.

Jindabyne Rugby Union club is seeking new coaches for the 2025 season along with players for both our men's and women's senior teams, especially front rowers in men's. We have a diverse range of experience in our women's team, so whilst rugby experience is definitely preferred, it is not essential.

You'll enjoy a wonderful and truly unique country rugby experience as we travel throughout the South Coast Monaro region surrounding Canberra, enjoying great rugby and post-match hospitality of a diverse range of clubs throughout the competition. Bus trips on one of the club’s fleet of buses are a highlight.

Our home ground overlooking lake Jindabyne is one of Australia’s most spectacular.

We can get you setup in Jindabyne and help you find a job and accommodation, whether it’s just for the ski season or if you’re looking for something longer term.
