Club Overview

Donaghadee Rugby Club is a family-orientated and welcoming club, based in County Down, Northern Ireland. 

Our 1st XV play in Ulster Championship 3 and have a rich history in Ulster Rugby, having won numberous throphies, since formation in 1885. 

We aspire to return to Championship 2, with good recruitment already secured ahead of the 2024/25 season, however we are currently seeking a player to add to our 1st XV, with a European, Irish or British Passport.

Club Details

Donaghadee Rugby Club has 2 Senior Men's Teams, Women's Seniors, Youth Boys & Girls 12-18 and Boys & Girls Mini's 5-12, as well as a Special Education Needs team.

Our inclusive and welcoming club has a long history in Ulster Rugby. We have hosted players from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa in recent years, many who have stayed and some even making Donaghadee their home. 

Donaghadee RFC has over 500 members and is a social hub for our local community, with close relationships with businesses in the area.
