Club Overview

HOOK XV is the first team of Rugby Club the Hookers in the Hook of Holland (Netherlands). The club is located at 500 meters away from the beach and 20 min drive away from the city of Rotterdam. The club has 3 senior teams playing at different levels. HOOKXV is playing in the Ereklasse, the highest level. The competition is a high performance sport and continues even during lockdown.

The club have 2 rugby pitches (grass/synthetic field), own gym, big meeting room and a pitch side English bar. A great place to be after a game.

Rugby in the Netherlands is growing fast. The national team plays in the Six Nations B Competition. We play European rugby against Spain, Portugal and Belgium. The level is rising and we as a club want to develop and grow. We are looking for extra quality from players from overseas.

We are looking for players who can help us to grow the game. We need players who can raise the standard and people who really care about the club. This can be an adventure for a year or for longer.

The goal of the club is to compete with the top 4 and go for a spot in the finals. The club, coaches and the players are ambitious and willing to sacrifice a lot for this goal. For the moment we are building and doing well in the competition. All the senior players are contracted and getting benefits to train and play.

We want to welcome fanatical players committed to their game and those who thrive within a healthy club environment. Willing to share their knowledge, skills and experience with a young team and help build the stronger team of tomorrow.

There are roles within the senior leadership team that offer a chance to shape the way that the club and the team plays rugby.
