Club Overview
Heidelberger Ruderklub ist the oldest rugby club in Germany. We were relegated from the German Bundesliga to 2. Bundesliga Süd and aim to move up to the Bundesliga again directl. We are looking for amibitous players (most needed are 8, 9, 10) for the 2023/24 season to join us in Heidelberg, starting in July. We can only consider players that have an EU passport and/or are based in the EU and therefore are allowed to work in Germany. We have some of Germany's most advanced rugby facilities with an astro turf pitch and offer on-site gym access. Some of our outdoor training areas are roofed. We will help new players to get settled in. Depending on the player's level, we can offer subsidized or free accommodation and will help with finding a suitable job. We are looking for ambitious players who want to enjoy rugby on a decent level in one of Germanys most beautiful cities while being amibitious to improve their own level of playing, are willing to put in the required work and be part of our team. The team is a combination of internationally experienced players and young ambitious players that play to have fun and win together. We are an ambitious amateur team that want to play their best possible rugby and be the best players they can. We are looking forward to your message! Footage is required.
